The Khan Great Mosque is situated in the Palace Square, east of the northern gate. It is one of the largest mosques, built before the Crimean War, and one of the first buildings in the palace of the Khan. The mosque was built in 1532 by Sahib I Giray. The mosque consists of a prayer hall and square corridor and three rooms covered with a roof, a narthex and porches facing to the east and west. The mosque is entered from the north.
