Castle of Radboud

Excellent

The Castle of Radboud was built in the 8th century by Radboud (the king of the Frisians), and it stands across from Oosterhaven. The castle was fortified to 1288 by Count Floris V of Holland, which transformed it to be able to contain the people of West Friesland, who had just been subjected. Today only preserved part of the building is a small part that's surrounded by a moat. The rest was destroyed in the 17th and 18th century. The castle is now a museum that houses coins and other objects that have been uncovered from excavations. When we got there, they had just had a wedding. The landscape

Is beautiful with large trees between the moat and the sea and an air of calm that invites you to walk to the lighthouse at the entrance of the harbor.
