Very creative Basque cuisine
Kaskagorri is located in the famous Plaza del Machete, below the Church of San Vicente and next to famous landmarks like the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. In my opinion it's one of the best restaurants in Vitoria, thanks to the chef, Iosu Sainz Munilla, who blends traditional Basque cuisine with cutting edge techniques. The wide variety of hot pintxos are a real highlight, and the best day to go is Thursday, when they have "pintxo-pot", ie a day when you'll get a free pintxo with your drink.
