A beer bewery in Reykjavik
Before embarking on a trip, I like to read up about the location. So last year, before leaving for the land of ice and volcanoes, I read the cult novel 'Reykjavik 101', by Hallgrimur Helgason, set in the Icelandic capital, a city famous for its lively nightlife, particularly at the weekend. I had read about this brewery in the novel, so of course I had to visit it - a great location, frequented by locals and tourists alike! It's not hard to find, centrally located on the side of a main street. It's made from red bricks, with a London Underground sign in front. We really enjoyed it - it's dimly lit, with dark wood, round tables.
