Polonnaruva Railway Statio

The Kuduruwela bus station is a complicated place. There is a central part inside with various shops and they have food and drinks for the trip. There is no information on the buses, or when they leave. If you go to the west, or to Kandy, you will have to switch to Habarana. At least it's a direct bus. In Habarana, you have a choice of buses with AC that go to Trincomalee, Anuradhapura and Kandy, which is much better. Buses are very full and you generally have to sit half an hour before the bus arrives to secure your seat. Another piece of advice is that you can take any bus to the intersection and wait there to get a less-full one.
