Hustle and bustle of the market of Juliaca
Juliaca is a city in southeastern Peru, close to Puno and Lake Titicaca. It is one of the biggest cities in the zone and is more administrative than touristy, but is the only place that has an airport, so there are more foreigners who come to Juliaca by plane to visit after the lake Titicaca. It is at 3824 meters in altitude, therefore, we must be careful with "altitude sickness". Not being a city developed for mass tourism ,in Juliaca one can still see many of the customs and traditions of this zone. For example, one of the most interesting things is the market in the main streets of the city, which sells everything.
