The sight of holly always moves me because in Spain it's in danger of extinction and is highly protected. Every time I see it, I get a strong maternalistic feeling to care for it. Thinking about this, I was taking a picture of the red balls and pointed, oval, green and yellow leaves, when I noticed that behind the plant there was a quiet and expressive man. He had his name at his feet. A tourist brochure described Jules Destree as a "multiple and resolutely modern man whose actions took place at the end of the 19th and early 20th century." He was actually a social lawyer and politician who denounced the lack of patriotic spirit among the Belgians in his book "Il n'y a pas de Belges".

A man who undoubtedly liked vodka, because he kept the tops once he was finished with the bottle, as a souvenir.
