Jovellanos Building

El Edificio Jovellanos se encuentra adosado al [poi=432341]Templo de la Merced[/poi]. Ahora es de propiedad municipal, pero es el antiguo Convento de la Santísima Trinidad de Religiosos Descalzos de Nuestra Sra. De la Merced y Redención de Cautivos, fundado en el siglo XVII por Pedro Pérez Maestre. Es la sede de la Agrupación de Cofradías y Hermandades de la Semana Santa de Ayamonte, que ha instalado en la planta superior del edificio el [poi=427211]Museo Cofrade[/poi]. En la planta baja se halla la [poi=430231]oficina de información turística[/poi] municipal.

Jovellanos Building is attached to the Temple of Mercy. It is now owned by the city, but the former Convent of the Holy Trinity of Discalced Religious of Our Lady of Mercy and Redemption of Captives, founded in the seventeenth century by Pedro Pérez Master. It is the headquarters of the Association of Brotherhoods of the Holy Week of Ayamonte, which was installed on the upper floor of the Museum Guild. On the ground floor is the local tourist information office.
