The first thing I have to say is that...
The first thing I have to say is that the hotel chain "Jolly" was purchased by the Spanish hotel chain "Nh hotels". Whoever goes to a Nh knows what to expect: city hotels with excellent service, good decoration and not too expensive prices. This was the main reason why we decided on the Jolly Hotel Madison Towers. We wanted to experience five days living in downtown Manhattan and enjoying the city without having to take a subway or a taxi. We wanted to explore the city on foot and at night and to be able to rest in a good room. Well, the curious thing is that it's half hotel Jolly (floors 1 through 14) and half Nh (from the 15 floor), and that they have not yet finished the work to suit the image of Nh hotels.
The first night we were on the 11th floor. The hotel looked like it was 70 years old. It was spacious but old and uncomfortable. The next day we went to talk to the staff, and attended to the Office Manager, "Vera", a pro who was on top of the situation and he understood perfectly that we had booked an Nh with everything that that incurs and that our room did not live up to the expectations of the money we were going to pay. For a bit more we changed to the 16th floor, another world. This was as expected if NH. A hotel like! 100% recommend the hotel (but, remember, from the 15th floor). From our window we could see the Empire State Building. Of course we booked through minube.
