Jardines Bernardinai

Los Jardines Bernardinai son un parque público ubicado en el extremo este de la ciudad de Vilna, muy cerca del castillo medieval y la Colina de las Tres Cruces. Con más de 9 hectáreas de terreno, es uno de los más extensos de la capital lituana, y si bien es conocido principalmente por los restos de un antiguo monasterio que se encuentran en el interior, es también uno de los lugares más agradables para simplemente pasear en medio de la naturaleza. El parque está atravesado al medio por una ramificación del río Neris, que atraviesa Vilna de este a oeste. Dentro del lugar hay un jardín botánico, y en primavera y verano el sitio es el escenario por excelencia de conciertos y espectáculos al aire libre. Sin embargo, aún si visitas los países bálticos en invierno, disfrutarás de un paseo por este lugar. Eso sí, ¡a abrigarse muy bien!

The Bernardinai Gardens are a public park located on the eastern edge of the city of Vilnius, very close to the medieval castle and the Hill of Three Crosses. With more than 9 hectares of land, it is one of the most extensive in the Lithuanian capital, and although it is mainly known for the remains of an ancient monastery that are located in the interior, it is also one of the most pleasant places to simply stroll in the midst of nature. The park is crossed in the middle by a branch of the Neris River, which crosses Vilna from east to west. Inside the place there is a botanical garden, and in spring and summer the site is the setting for concerts and outdoor shows.
