Jardim da Carreira

Mount Calvary (in the upper area of ​​the city) is built by a system of terraces. The Jardim da Carreira, on the second level of terraces, is Vila Real's most beautiful and romantic garden, and one of the most iconic and picturesque city. It also has an excellent gazebo overlooking the city and the surrounding mountains. This park was built in the XVIII century and has two entrances: A granite door that opens onto Rampa do Calvario street, or a ladder on Alameda Lucena Street.
