1 review of Jack Daniel's Distillery

One of the oldest distilleries in the US

Lost in the middle of the American Wild West, this distillery (one of the oldest in the US) gives an excellent tour. Their whiskey is famous for its mild taste. The visit is for groups, which are with a guide. It is only in English from Tenneessee, which is usually difficult to understand for Americans, so you can lose some of the narrative and jokes. The tour is on foot, from the entrance and storage of raw materials through fermentation, packaging, the deposit and clearance of the boxes. The process that makes this whiskey unique is interesting. It is passed a tower with a height of 3 meters with compacted coal before moving into oak barrels for aging it.

During the visit to the section that this process is done, the guide (I will not say how to not ruin the surprise) feel to anyone who wants pure aromas of whiskey. As surprise is the drink at the end of the tour instead of the expected drink. The reason left everyone amazed. To drink a Jack you have to go to another town.
