Isolon Picnic Area

A Chiuppano, lungo il torrente Astico, si trova un'area attrezzata per pic-nic chiamata "Isolon", conosciutissima perché fino a qualche anno fa era la sede dell'omonimo Festival Rock. L'area attrezzata è raggiungibile a piedi sia da Chiuppano che da Calvene in 20-30 minuti, attraverso vari sentieri che portano al torrente Astico. Lungo la stradina che parte da Chiuppano si passa davanti ad una centralina dell'Enel con dei percorsi pedonali che collegano le torrette, tutti circondati dall'acqua. In zona si può anche pescare, e magari utilizzare i bracieri proprio per il pesce fresco!

A Chiuppano along the river Astico, it offers an equipped picnic called "Isolon", well known because until a few years ago it was the site of the Rock Festival. The picnic area is within walking distance from both Chiuppano that Calvene in 20-30 minutes, through various paths leading to the Astico. Along the road that starts from Chiuppano you pass in front of a unit of Enel with pedestrian paths that connect the towers, all surrounded by water. In the area you can also fish, and maybe use the braziers for its fresh fish!
