Cubagua

An hour by boat from Playa El Yaque is Cubagua Island. Site of the first city founded in Venezuela. New Cadiz, thrived on the exploitation of pearls but ended due to overexploitation and an earthquake. Today it's amazing place to walk in peace and contact with nature.
