After visiting the wonder of Machu Picchu and spending three days in Aguas Calientes, it was back to Cusco in style. The trip began with an afternoon in the luxury hotel located in the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. There we climbed aboard stylishly decorated wagons which date back to the 1920's. A group of musicians sang several songs, and we were able to enjoy a Peruvian culinary experience, beginning with a welcome drink of pisco and followed by some snacks. After that, a delicious dinner with desserts to die for. Not exactly a cheap trip, but worth it - totally recommended for the excellent food.
