The Inks Lake State park in Burnet, Texas is great for camping, fishing, picnicking, viewing wildlife, diving, swimming, boating, and other water sports. It also has a small golf course, boat ramps, cabins and much more. It's a very popular site throughout the year. Wildlife includes deer, turkey, alligators, songbirds and eagles plus a range of 803 species of fish. Hiking through the trails is an experience that invigorates and energizes one's spirit. The park is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm throughout the year. The admission is $10.00 and the park offers parking.
