India Quay is one of the best Indian restaurants in Newcastle despite the large competition in a city with a big Indian community, which has contributed to the creation of dozens of restaurants offering quality oriental food. The India Quay is a great restaurant. While most of the others are obscurely located, this one is found in the dynamic Quayside neighbourhood, and it attracts all the party people out on the weekend. It is very popular, and fills from 7pm on, so it is best to make a reservation. An evening menu costs about 10 pounds, or 13 euros. There are a number of dishes that can be shared with friends.
