Independence Square

We only spent a few hours in Mexico City, but my husband could not leave without seeing the Column or the Angel of Independence. It is one of the greatest symbols of Mexico City and the country. The Column of Independence stands majestically amidst the Paseo de la Reforma and was inaugurated nearly a century ago to mark the centenary of the Revolution.

If you feel like it, you can see it on the typical tourist bus. It's worth it to take a few photos, especially of the pink area of the city, near the chiringitos mountains.
