Inca Loss Lagoon

Wonderful place, Pátapo has an area rich in culture. The great Wari Culture settled in the northern part of Peru, covering also the Lambayeque area. Their stone buildings can still be seen although there is still much to discover. The Laguna del Inca is elsewhere in the same district but a little further. It is worth walking for two hours, the place is amazing, full of carob and dense vegatation, the lagoon is 9 m deep and is estimated to be mineral. Within it you can see the Inca chair and a monolith.
