Hotel Il Guercino

Not far from the train station, and within walking distance (rather a long walk, it must be said) of the centre of Bologna. The good reviews on various websites encouraged me to book here, and it's really good, with plenty to recommend it other than its affordable price - there's great decor, and an excellent breakfast. The room is simple, but it has a fridge and kettle, plus a terrace. In a rather plain middle class neighbourhood, but nevertheless I'd say that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Recommended.

This modern and historic hotel was recently reformed and can be found in the residential area of Bologna. It is recommended and tranquil, with excellent public transport connections. There are amenities available in the rooms that include bathroom, TV, cafeteria and internet access in some cases.
