Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Rosário e Capela de Nosso Senhor dos Aflitos

A Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Rosário está localizada na Praça da Restauração, no centro histórico de Olhão. É uma Igreja de estilo Barroco e foi fundada no reinado de D. Pedro II, corria o ano de 1698. A planta é em forma de Cruz Latina e tem 5 altares. Anexa à Igreja está a Capela de Nosso Senhor dos Aflitos. O acesso é pela Avenida da República. Esta capela teve origem num ossuário que se transformou em oratório e depois na capela que existe hoje. Ela não parece uma capela mas um edifício público (não foi fácil para mim perceber onde estava a capela)!
