Iglesia Parroquial, Basílica El Salvador

The parish church Basilica El Salvador is located in the Plaza Mayor de Burriana and is a 13th century Gothic building commemorating the first major military victory of James I in his conquest over the Muslims. He wanted to give the Church a sense of monumentality and magnificence, so the building is all made of stone. It's one of the best examples of Gothic Valencia.
