Histrica worthy heir to another church
St Serf's Church is the church currently in use in the village of Tullibody. The Victorian building belongs to the Church of Scotland, which has nothing to do with that of England. You can see the ruins of the former church nearby, the state of which eventually led to the construction of a new church. The original idea was to keep the style of the small rural church that has always characterized this location and the design and structure of this building is consistent with the original medieval buildings. (a single nave and an apse at one end).
The funny thing is that this construction inherits the spirit of the Catholic Church, which in turn did the same for the Celtic church (which has nothing against the authority of Rome; their differences were based on the isolation of the area and local interpretation of the Holy Scriptures). Intentionally or not, this church and the extended the monumental complex was built across the historic cemetery, which is flanked between the two churches and the modern cemetery.
