A historic air
This church has a really historic air about it. It was built in the late nineteenth century, so it should be classified as Victorian Gothic. However, the structure of the tower and the layout of the building suggest that a Norman church once stood here (the Normans were the ruling class of the British Isles after the Battle of Hastings in 1066). There are no remains to be seen of the historic cemetery, perhaps because of the modern buildings that surround the church. The name of the church tells us that this was once Catholic, but it changed hands during the religious reformation. A very nice building,
