Of Romanesque Origin

Located in the square of the same name, El Salvador Church is a Romanesque temple, although from its early period, and it retains the semicircular part of the bell tower. The rest is of the church is Gothic, although the last restoration was in 1968 and wasn't very successful because it altered the architecture quite a bit. In its interior you'll find the burial chapel of Los Moretas, founded by Hernán López de Moreta and Ines de Trejo. It's a square cabin covered by a canopy of stars, similar to a Chapter House.
