Kuna Yala Island Paradise
Isla Aguja is one of many islands scattered around the Kuna Yala archipelago in the Panamanian Caribbean. The region is semi-autonomous and is inhabited largely by the Kuna people who've tried to keep their lands (which are basically paradise, by the way) out of the hands of tourism promoters and land speculators.
So, the capacity for visitors is pretty limited. However, once you arrive (45min. flight from Panama City), the possibilities are endless. You have an incredible sea, postcard-ready islands, clean beaches, and friendly people. And while the services are extremely limited, once you arrive in such a setting you really won't notice.
