Pretty typical hotels
Ibis is part of the Accor Group hotel chain, as is Mercure or Sofitel. They're pretty typical hotels but just so you get an idea: It's right near Mulhouse and has 76 rooms with private bathroom. The rooms are quite large with a TV, alarm clock, wi-fi access (provided by Orange at a price of 10 euros for 3 hours which is valid for one month and can be used in all places with Orange wi-fi in France). The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the reception is open 24-hours. The 9-euro breakfast is a buffet was nothing special, featuring mainly regional dishes such as spiced bread and a cake from the Alsace region.
It's a half hour / 50 euros taxi ride from the airport, or you can take bus 22 from the city center. The bus also stops about 15 minutes from the hotel, but are no buses after 7pm!
