Excellent hotel restaurant
So, you're in New York, one of the best restaurant cities in the world...you're under a bit of pressure to find a good place to eat. That's a dilemma I've faced during my multiple trips to New York. During one trip, I stayed at the Hotel Hudson and, since it was snowing out, I decided to try the hotel restaurant. What a stroke of luck! The food is great but the atmosphere is very dark, so much so that it was difficult to even read the menu! There is one huge room with a central kitchen open and visible to the public. It makes for a good show while you're waiting for your appetizers. I'd suggest sitting at one of the bar stools that surround the kitchen so you can catch all the action.
