House of La Ribera
The House of la Ribera is an ethnographic museum, situated in a 16th century house, which is an example of popular architecture that recreates the daily life of the inhabitants of the Ribera del Duero in the early 20th century. The visit is done together with "Mariano and Tomasa," the inhabitants of the house who show us scenes from their everyday life. Inside we visited the wine cellar, and the tavern, where they produced, cured and sold the wine, which together with the block, for keeping their cattle, constituted the entire world of man. On the contrary, the oven and anything having to do with the house was the woman's world.
