Hotel Tinaya

The Tinaya Hotel is the best and pretty much only hotel you'll find in central Dambulla. If you're using Dambulla as a home pase to explore the local sights like Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, or Reswehera, Tinaya is an excellent choice. First of all, if you're taking the bus up from Kandy, the hotel is literally at the bus stop. As you enter, there's a pleasant and shady courtyard lined with small tables for al fresco breakfasts. It's really a nice place to relax with a cold beer after a long, hot day walking or biking the local area.
