Sofitel Athens Airport hotel

The Sofitel Athens Airport is located in front of the airport and near the high-speed train which takes yuo to downtown Athens in less than 40 minutes. When you arrive at the airport, you can't miss it...it's the large white building right in front of you. It's an easy meeting point. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool for sunny summer days, and was recently built along with the airport for the Olympic Games of 2004. It has a large garden and many green areas (a rarity around an airport) and is quite nice. It is the closest htoel to the airport, and it's ideal if you arrive late or have an early flight to catch.
