1 review of SLS Hotel South Beach

The SLS Hotel South Beach is one of...

The SLS Hotel South Beach is one of four that the luxury hotel chain has opened in the United States. The style is 100% South Beach: Decorated with such attention to detail, with works by renowned artists and combined with baroque minimalism. Inside you will find several international restaurants. In addition, there are several important things in it, such as the restaurant "The Bazaar" or "Bar Centro" - the outdoor terrace - with creations from the Spanish chef Jose Andres, who is becoming well known from his nightly TV appearances.

Another element that stands out is the immense white lamp in the room made entirely of shells and seashells. Its as though when you approach it, you feel and smell the sea. You can tell the decor is has Spanish influence: bunches of geraniums hanging on the wall, replicas of works by MirĂ³ and Picasso, including a unique work of Mikel Urmeneta, the creator of Kukuxumusu - a bull mask hooded struggle with the purest Mexican style - that leaves no one indifferent.

What I most appreciate about this hotel its garden- with two pools, old ceramic floor and mirrors everywhere you go, which illuminate the environment and their reflections during sunset overlooking the garden, there is a magic in the air. Without a doubt, it is one of my favorites in South Beach. If you can not stay in it, I recommend at least get close and order a drink in the bar, dinner at the Japanese restaurant or find an invitation to one of the many festivals held in the second pool, which overlooks the beach. Oh, and the service is fantastic!
