A pleasing experience
We didn't choose this hotel, it was booked for us, but we were very happy with it. It's large, and close to the Taj Mahal, and 100 metres from a shopping centre and cinema. The rooms cost about 50 euros - not cheap for India - but the standard is good, even if we (in room 215) had a view of a building under construction. There's a restaurant, and the breakfast has everything, with a good number of varieties. The staff at reception were very kind, and we made use of the laundry service: we took the clothes down at 10:30, and they were returned at 5pm. We spent 755 rupees (just over 10 euros) for 14 pairs of underwear, 10 pairs of socks, and 19 other pieces of clothing (t-shirts, trousers, etc): a good price! In addition, there's free wifi, although only in the lobby, and maybe in the rooms on the first floor.
