Hotel Restaurant Adriano

In un bel contesto verde, a fianco dell'ingresso a Villa Adriana, si trova questo hotel ristorante slow food in cui soggiornò anche l'autrice di "Le memorie di Adriano", Marguerite Yourcenar. Noi ci siamo fermati a pranzare dopo la visita alla Villa e siamo stati accolti da un bell'ambiente dai toni un pò classicheggianti, con la sala principale con vista sul giardino ed un grande pianoforte. Abbiamo assaggiato alcuni prodotti stagionali del territorio tra cui il caciofiore, un formaggio presidio slow food che ha un caglio vegetale, ottenuto con i fiori di carciofo raccolti durante l'estate. Il formaggio risulta così avere una crosticina deliziosa, ce l'hanno servito insieme ad altri prodotti del territorio, salumi e verdure. Come primo piatto invece abbiamo scelto delle squisite crespelle con le verdure, e per secondo delle scaloppine al porto e per dessert una deliziosa meringa con le fragole. Che dire... in questa zona del nostro belpaese si mangia deciamente bene ed anche l'accoglienza è di prim'ordine, consiglio vivamente questo ristorante!

We stopped for lunch after a visit to the Villa and were greeted by a beautiful tones a little classical, with the main room with a garden view and a grand piano. We tasted some regional and seasonal products including the Caciofiore, a cheese that has a slow food vegetable rennet, obtained from the flowers of artichoke collected during the summer. The cheese is so delicious to have a crust, they have served along with other local produce, meats and vegetables. As a first course instead we chose the delicious crepes with vegetables, and according to the port of scallops and for dessert a delicious meringue with strawberries. What about ... in this area of ​​our beautiful country grub you eat well and also the reception is top notch, I highly recommend this restaurant!
