Personally, I have a soft spot for the early 90's style that inspired the Cuban architect, Choy. Here you can enjoy a gastronomic paradise with huge swimming pools, more typical of a luxury resort than a city hotel. The rooms aren't too bad; like other hotels, they need reform, but not urgently. Don't expect a sea view - you're too far for that - but you can see the mountains and the north of the city, a huge green expanse dotted with buildings.
The breakfast is huge, with many varieties of bread, pastries, juices, all kinds of fruit, hot dishes and tortillas made to order.
