Hotel Le Meridien Mauritius
A great hotel, with great facilities. They have a private area (Nirvana) where we were staying (accessible only by guests) with private pool and restaurant and private beach access. The hotel has another pool and vast variety of restaurants: - 180: there is a buffet restaurant overlooking the kitchen (built in the middle of the room) and the Indian Ocean. This is a themed buffet every day that offers typical food of some region (Indian, Mediterranean, etc..). Different everyday. The only catch is that it was always very crowded. - La Faya: oceanfront Mediterranean food (in the private area of Nirvana).
Quiet atmosphere. - We Cumin. Indian restaurant with typical food in front of the main pool. - Shells. Based restaurant and delicatessen several small caps. - Le Croque. Pizzas, salads, pastas, etc.. The room did not disappoint us at all: king size bed, whirlpool overlooking the TV (They offer many water activities at the hotel. But if I had to highlight something would be the staff (they were all very very friendly and nice) and the oceanfront breakfast.
