L'Hilton Leningradskaya è un hotel davvero sontuoso. Da fuori è mastodontico mentre l'interno di una raffinatezza da palazzo del sultano, soffitti altissimi elaborati, enormi lampadari di cristallo, sculture dorate, portoni trionfali, candelabri. L'edificio risale al'epoca staliniana ed è uno dei grandi grattacieli storici cittadini, denominati le Sette Sorelle. La nostra camera era situata nell'ala est, al primo piano non servito da ascensore ma raggiungibile con pochi gradini di una scalinata trionfale. Posizione molto tranquilla, afacciata su un cortile interno, positivo considerato che l'hotel sorge su trafficatissime enormi arterie. Eleganza e modernità caratterizzano la stanza, con due spaziosi letti queen size, grande scrivania con poltrona, tv lcd 32 pollici, stereo e dvd, sveglia con mp3. Molto grande il bagno, con un bel box doccia in vetro, ciabatte e accappatoio. Comodo il set per te e caffè mentre improponibile il costo per la connessione wi-fi, circa 20 euro al giorno. Piacevole il fitness center, che include palestra, piscina coperta con jacuzzi, solarium con lampade, pratici spogliatoi con docce, armadietti e acqua gratuita. La sala colazioni è stranamente piccola, molto raffinata, l'angolo buffet un pò limitato nello spazio, il che crea un pò di confusione.
