El hotel Continental tenía mucho renombre en la década de 1930, era uno de los hoteles más elegantes de Asia. Escritores, periodistas, eminencias de todos los campos culturales tenían allí sus hábitos. El hotel es siempre elegante, bien ubicado, muy cerca del teatro, no es un hotel para mochileros porque todavía debe pagar el precio (para el país). Si nos vamos a dar un lujo de un palacio en Vietnam, yo recomendaría el Morin Hu. Pero eso no impide que el Continental esté muy bien: habitaciones muy amplias con techos altos, un buen confort y una buena recepción.
The Continental hotel had much popularity in the 1930s, it was one of the finest hotels in Asia. Writers, journalists, eminent of all cultural fields had there their habits. The hotel is always stylish, well located, close to the theater, not a hotel for backpackers because it must still pay the price (for the country). If we were to give a luxury of a palace in Vietnam, I would recommend Morin Hu. But that does not stop the Continental is fine: very spacious rooms with high ceilings, good comfort and good reception.
