Like an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel
It feels like you belong in a F. Scott Fitzgerald novel when you walk into Hotel 340 in downtown St Paul. The character and charm of the building has been retained throughout- from the elevator decor to the vaulted ceilings of the first floor lounge and up into the second floor- it's stunning.
Hotel rooms are on the top floors of the building- 10, 11, 12 and they have one of the cheapest night sleeps in all of downtown for $89/night (plus taxes which puts you at about $101). It's an efficiency style room with just enough room for a bed and tv (pictured) that you get for $89, but you're probably not visiting St Paul for the hotel room any way.
Hotel 340 is located in the heart of the skyway system and on one of the 4 main lightrail system stops, so you wouldn't even need a car during your visit!
Breakfast is included and has some terrific fresh fruit options, along with your standard continental breakfast fare.
