Hostel Phinam Water View

This hostel was built in the district of Banglamphu right next to the Chao Phraya river. It can only be reached on foot, but if you travel by taxi, you'll be left about 50 metres from the entrance. You'll have to pass through a maze of walkways that pass between homes on the water. Sometimes there's no water under the bridges, and other times it feels like the walkways are going to collapse under your weight. The hostel has double and twin rooms, with or without bathroom. For a double with shared bathroom you spend 300 baht (about € 8). Wifi is free, with password access. Be careful near the entrance to the bathroom, which is flooded more often than not.
