Hops Fair and Beer

Este fin de semana esta teniendo lugar en Carrizo de la Ribera la sexta edición de esta feria que el pueblo hace en homenaje a uno de sus cultivos mas celebres : el lúpulo . Si bien es verdad que se ha convertido en uno de los eventos mas conocidos de Carrizo y su difusión esta siendo grande , este es el primer año que me he acercado por allí y , sinceramente , me ha decepcionado bastante . El lugar en el que esta ubicada es muy bueno , ya que este parque , aparte de grande , tiene bastante sombra , lo que es un punto a favor dadas las temperaturas . Pero la exposicion en si no fue lo que me había imaginado . Del lúpulo solamente había un stand en el que se mostraban cestos con las distintas variedades y una serie de fotografias que mostraban como había sido la evolución a lo largo del tiempo . En cuanto a la cerveza , en el medio del parque había una tasca en la que se servia cerveza , previo pago , de los mismos barriles que tienen en cualquier bar , vamos que nada artesano .

This weekend is taking place in Carrizo the sixth edition of this fair that the people make a tribute to one of its most celebrated crop: hops. While it is true that it has become one of the most famous events of Carrizo and its diffusion is still great, this is the first year I've come around and, honestly, I was pretty disappointed. The place where it is located is very good, as this park apart from large, have enough shade, which is a plus given the temperatures. But the exhibition itself was not what I had imagined. Hop only had a stand that displayed baskets with different varieties and a series of photographs that showed it had been the evolution over time. As for the beer, in the middle of the park there was a tavern where beer is served on payment, the same barrels that have in any bar, let nothing craftsman.
