Holy Christ of Cabrilla Church
Within the Axarquia area and just 50 miles from Malaga, you will find this charming town. The village is very small, but in addition to its typical streets, it has a dense forest with lots of fruit trees. In the village, you can visit the Church which has a strange name "Santo Cristo de Cabrilla". It was built in the eighteenth century on the highest part of the town and later rebuilt in 1977. It is a rectangular building with two naves separated by several arches. Its square tower is made from bricks and masonry. It wasn't open when I went so I will have to return to this charming village.
