A joyful festival
Happy Holi! This festival can be as joyful as the Tomatina, absolutely glorious and messy - not for the fastidious! We reached the holy city of Varanasi on the eve of the festival. People from all over the world attend, and the festival is one of the largest in India, celebrated to commemorate the arrival of the spring and the struggle between the god Krishna, and the goddess Radha.
