Hof Rosenthaler Strasse

5 reviews of Hof Rosenthaler Strasse

Dead Chicken Alley

This place is in the Jewish quarter of Berlin. Just outside the entrance also can enter (I forget the name) that have patios shops in every yard, between the blocks. There is an exhibition on mechanical machines like metal bird that move, the entry is 8 € but if you are a group of people, the price will drop to 5 €. You can also enter a building that has a couple of shops, and whose stairs are full of graffiti.

Alternative courtyard

A fascinating alternative style courtyard, with plenty of graffiti, is just before the famous courtyards Hacke (Die Hackeschen Höfe). Definitely worth visiting. Here see an exhibition about Anne Frank (although she did not live in Berlin), and a museum which we could not enter, but it seemed to be very funny, "Monsterkabinett".
