Eat next to the waterfall

Maybe it's a little optimistic to call this "stall" a restaurant but it´s worth mentioning for several reasons. The restaurant is next to the waterfalls of McLeod, so after making the trek from the village on the hot, steep road, it was a treat to find a place where we could sit and regain some strength. You can enjoy a great chai while you chat with friends or soak up the silence and the view. It appears that in the harsh winter when everything is covered with snow, the stall is closed. The menu is pretty simple as it must be very hard to bring the supplies up here (the only way to get there is on foot) but the food is good.

We had some thalis and sandwiches that were simple, good and cheap. It´s a little corner in paradise where you can get your strength while enjoying the views. Re-fill your water bottle with freshly fallen glacial water and leave the place with a smile.
