Hilton Anchorage hotel

The Hilton Anchorage was the first big city hotel in the area. The Beatles, the Prince of Wales and many U.S. presidents have stayed here. The interior has many indigenous works of art on display and a very modern lobby. The restaurant is called Hooper Bay Café and it has very good food. Two huge, stuffed bears are exhibited in the lobby. It is one of the most expensive hotels, but it is very central and the views from the rooms are wonderful.
