Hermitage of San Antonio
The ecclesiastical heritage of Archidona is rather large for the area and population. In addition to the churches that there are in the historic center of the town, having the two chapels, the main one is the Hermitage Sanctuary called Nuestra Señora de Gracia where the patron of the city is, and the other is the Hermitage of San Antonio, which is situated in the area of El Ejido, just outside the village, and adjoining the cemetery Archidona. In the eighteenth century the hermitage of San Antonio was built, its architecture is that of religious construction, typical of popular roots which was present throughout the Andalucian area.
It's front is simple, with a whitewashed brick bell tower on show. The photograph of the interior is of poor quality as it was taken from a small window, while the Church was closed.
