An enjoyable park
The city of Houston is extensive and is divided into neighborhoods with very different identities. If you are looking for a bit of green, head to Hermann Park, located in the Museum District. South of downtown Houston, it is accessed easily by tram. Inside the park you'll find a zoo, Japanese gardens, and the Museum of Natural Sciences. You could easily spend the whole day here, enjoying a picnic lunch.
