Unique city park with colonial-themed play island
Heritage Park in Cerritos is a unique gem in the city that unquestionably stands out from other city parks. The biggest highlight is the play island, which showcases colonial buildings, a ship with cannons, and even a moat (with ducks) surrounding the island! There is also a statue of Paul Revere and a nice small man-made waterfall that adds a nice touch to the appearance. Heritage Park offers a lot of fun for families, but visitors are also sure to enjoy the environment. There’s a free parking lot right on site, but if that ever fills up, there’s street parking.
