A pleasant stay
Gurnee is a small town halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee, (Illinois). It would have no relevance here if it weren't for the largest theme park in the American Midwest, Six Flags Great America. Other than this, it would just be a dull rural population in the undeveloped northern state. Because of the hotel, it has become a tourist center, with a negligible hotel and commercial offer. Its proximity to the park and the fact it was a Hampton Inn was what made us opt for this hotel when making reservations from home. The Hampton Inn represents the lowest level of the Hilton group and are located in the ranks immediately above the Comfort Inn or Best Western. It has three stars and locations are usually near highway exits or business areas of the suburbs, although there are also some in urban areas. Come on, they are breaded motels.
